It's amazing that people move into areas where there's wildlife or they drive places with signs telling them to look out for animals then complain when they encounter one. I'm glad the guy was able to swerve his motorcycle so neither him nor the horse were injured, but his attitude really upsets me. I swerve to avoid animals, too, even snakes!

I agree about it being more enjoyable looking for horses when it's not 150 degrees, which is probably why that was going to be my last outing until it cools off some. The drive is...I haven't ventured up there yet. The drive is more enjoyable when it's not in the triple digits, even if it is a little cooler up there. I was listening to a motorcyclist complain about a horse running out in front of him and nearly causing him to get into an accident. He stopped somewhere to report that a horse was loose on the highway. They explained that it was probably one of the wild horses. He asked why someone doesn't round them up so that they don't kill people. They asked if they should round up all the deer too. I had to swerve into the oncoming lane to avoid a snake, but I wouldn't expect people to round them up for the sake of motorists' safety. I was kind of amazed to meet someone with that perspective. I've been around animal lovers for so long I just thought that everyone understood that we have to share the land with the animals.Nuzzling Muzzleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07649710635013663900noreply@blogger.com
