Ok. Let me start out by saying that until a few weeks ago, when his name came up on my Facebook news feed for some sort of riding clinic, I had no idea who George Morris was. And...well...I still don't know but apparently he's a big deal in the horse show world. And when you're a big name in the horse show world you have to watch your Ps and Qs because you never know who might be watching and possibly videotaping, especially when so many cell phones can do video nowadays. So that's why I was so shocking when I came across this video of him...well, not just him, but it involves him.
This video is so shocking and horrifying that I can't put the video directly on my blog, I have to link it so the awfulness of it won't hit you in the face. It's not for the faint of heart so if you choose to watch it, don't say I didn't warn you.

ha ha ha. I want to know how they got that dressage footage of me. :P
ReplyDeleteHahahaha. There's cameras everywhere!
ReplyDeleteYep, fell for this. Oh well. Laughed a bit. What's sad is that I make those silly stopmotions too!
ReplyDeleteLol. I fell for it, too. I don't think they're silly. When they're done well they're a lot of fun and I enjoy watching them. Do you have a YouTube channel or something where I can see some?
ReplyDeleteYes I do! I'll leave a link to my channel since no one can ever find it when they search.

DeleteLet me know what you think!
DeleteThank you. Those are great! For the most part you can't see any "human involvement" but a couple of times your hand was visible, but I imagine it would be almost impossible to keep it out entirely. I subscribed to your channel...are you going to be making more in the future?
ReplyDeleteThanks very much! I hope so. I've always had a craving to do a three day eventing one or a full dressage test since I ride dressage in real life. I also want to try a whole video that's just the daily life of a racehorse. I think that one would turn out to be quite cool in the end.
DeleteOh, the 3day eventing one would be cool, especially with the 3day next weekend. Or you could try a dressage freestyle. It might be a bit difficult with stop motion though. would the race horse one be with models? That would probably be neat.
DeleteYes, I am planning to drag out my race track and show the life of a breyer racehorse, from training to running in a race the next day. it would either be from a regular viewpoint like the others or from the view of a groom or someone observing the daily life. and since i have so many bay horses I was going to use several models to make it more realistic.
DeleteThat sounds really cool. It would be hard to decide which POV to do it from, I would think. If you did it from the viewpoint of the groom then that would be more like a day in the life of a groom. You could do it from the horse's viewpoint but I'm not a huge fan of that and actually stopped reading a book when the author had 4 different viewpoints in the story then started a new chapter in the horse's POV. It was silly. Oh! Maybe you could do the viewpoint of the outrider and what they observe as being a day in the life of a racehorse...
